Our Response to COVID-19

Dear Friends of Blue Lotus:

My mission has always been to support your health and wellness in whatever unique way my clients have needed treatment. During this extremely difficult and unprecedented health crisis, I want you to know that providing support continues to be my highest priority. As things continue to shift in response to COVID-19, I'd like to share how Blue Lotus Physical Therapy and Wellness continues to care for our community.

1️. I am doing my part to flatten the curve: I’ve taken drastic measures to reduce the burden on the healthcare system and keep clients safe. I am closely following the guidelines from the State Board, the APTA of MD, the APTA, CDC, Gov Hogan, and Federal guidelines. I am currently seeing only patients whose daily lives and health would be significantly altered by lack of care. During these sessions, there is a multi-point screening tool in place for each client, and extreme safety measures in place for both client and myself.

2.  I am ready to treat you where you are — and that means at home. I have recently launched a digital platform using Telehealth Video, a HIPAA-compliant system that allows me to work with patients remotely. I am offering shorter sessions and discounted services because I understand that you, our current and future clients, have been deeply affected by the pandemic. Wondering how virtual PT can help with you with your pain? Physical therapists are the experts in the field of exercise and pain management, which gives us the ability to easily pivot into a digital domain. We're excited to serve you in this new capacity.
